Pre-assessment platform for SME funding readiness
A multi-tenant SaaS platform where consultants run structured, scored readiness assessments for SMEs applying to EU funding — project management, custom scoring forms, validation workflows, and system-wide analytics.
Digital Innovation Zone (DIZ), a Romanian innovation hub connecting SMEs with EU funding programs, needed a platform where consultants and partner organizations could run structured readiness assessments for small businesses applying for grants. We built a multi-tenant web application with role-based access for Admins, Partners and Beneficiaries, organized around projects, partner organizations, and the SMEs (beneficiaries) they support.
At its core is a custom form builder that supports additive, percentage, and TRL (Technology Readiness Level) scoring strategies, automatically calculating a readiness score and generating personalized, section-by-section recommendations for each submission. Activities carry documents, forms and file/text requirements through a full validation workflow — submit, request validation, approve or send back for revision — with every status change, submission and comment recorded in an automatic audit history. A system-wide analytics dashboard tracks submission trends, form performance and readiness distribution across every project.
