A public WordPress directory of technology suppliers and their digital solutions for the Digital Innovation Zone ecosystem — browsable by supplier or by product, with self-service supplier accounts and admin-configurable priority listing tiers.
Digital Innovation Zone (DIZ) wanted a public catalog where technology suppliers in its innovation ecosystem could list their company profile and the digital solutions they offer, so public institutions browsing DIZ's services could discover and compare vendors. We built a custom WordPress plugin with two linked content types — Suppliers and Products/Solutions — each with its own detail page and cross-navigation between a supplier's profile and every solution they offer. Cards show the services a supplier provides, the share of their business each service represents, team size and location, filterable by industry and digital-solution domain in both grid and list views.
Suppliers manage their own listings directly: a custom WordPress role restricts each supplier account to editing only their own company profile and products in wp-admin, with a simplified menu and an automatic redirect to their own listing after login. Admins can configure priority listing tiers — name, description, sort order, badge color — from their own screen, so featured suppliers can be promoted without a code change. The whole catalog is built with Elementor-compatible Dynamic Tags, so DIZ's team can restyle pages visually without touching PHP.
