Project management platform for EU-funded grant teams
A role-based project management platform for teams running EU-funded grants — work packages and monthly timesheets, automated travel-document generation with multi-step approval, sponsor/supplier contracts, and a full audit trail.
Digital Innovation Zone (DIZ) needed a way to run the day-to-day administration of its EU-funded projects — timesheets, business travel paperwork, sponsor and supplier contracts — without juggling spreadsheets and Word templates by hand. We built a role-based platform (Admin, Manager, Financial, Employee) organized around projects broken into work packages and activities, with team members assigned per package and a monthly timesheet grid that exports to Excel or prints in A3 landscape for grant reporting.
The standout feature is automated travel-document generation: each business trip walks through three official documents in sequence — Referat de necesitate, Ordin de deplasare, and Decont cheltuieli — pre-filled from project-level reimbursement settings (max km, fuel consumption, per diem) and the traveler’s own profile data, then routed through a centralized approval queue for Managers and Financial staff. Every action in the system — logins, creates, updates, deletes — is captured in a searchable audit log with field-level before/after diffs, and the underlying Word/Excel templates for official documents can be swapped without touching code.
